{"id":23260,"date":"2024-03-08T14:37:17","date_gmt":"2024-03-08T13:37:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/barcelonafinanceschool.com\/2o-desayuno-ief-finreg-360\/"},"modified":"2025-06-20T12:17:37","modified_gmt":"2025-06-20T10:17:37","slug":"2nd-ief-breakfast-finreg-360","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/barcelonafinanceschool.com\/en\/2nd-ief-breakfast-finreg-360\/","title":{"rendered":"2nd IEF Breakfast \u2013 FinReg 360!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the breakfasts organized every quarter by IEF &#8211; Institut d&#8217;Estudis Financers \/ Barcelona Finance School and finReg360, the second meeting was held last Wednesday, March 6, focusing on the topic of RIS (Retail Investment Strategy). <strong>Sara Guti\u00e9rrez Campi\u00f1a<\/strong> and <strong>Jorge Encinar Arroyo<\/strong> from finReg360 gave a comprehensive and interesting presentation titled <strong>\u201cRetail Investment Strategy (RIS): Challenges for Manufacturers and Distributors of Savings and Investment Products\u201d<\/strong> presented by <strong>Ferran Teixes<\/strong>, General Director of IEF, and <strong>Elisabet Escayola i Maranges<\/strong>, compliance and change management expert.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 The <strong>impact of RIS on the business model of financial institutions<\/strong> was highlighted, with special attention to the prohibition of incentives in informed sales, which could mean a significant loss of income for the industry.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 The timeline for implementing the regulation was analyzed, which could be delayed until the fourth quarter of 2026 due to the European Parliament elections.
