INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES
Due to the entry into force of the relevant amendment to the “Law on Information Society Services” (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the user’s explicit consent for all websites that use non-essential cookies before the user navigates through them.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies, or pixels, are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.

COOKIES AFFECTED BY THE REGULATION AND EXEMPTED COOKIES
According to the EU directive, cookies requiring informed user consent are analytical, advertising, and affiliation cookies, while technical cookies and those necessary for the website’s functioning or services expressly requested by the user are exempted.
WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES EXIST?
There are five main types of cookies:
- Analytical cookies: collect information on website usage.
- Social cookies: necessary for external social networks.
- Affiliate cookies: track visits from other websites with which the site has an affiliation contract (affiliate companies).
- Advertising and behavioral cookies: collect information about user preferences and choices (retargeting).
- Technical and functional cookies: strictly necessary for website use and service provision.
COOKIES USED ON THIS WEBSITE
List the cookie names, type, owner, function, and expiration, for example:
PHPSESSID: technical and strictly necessary cookie containing the session identifier. Deleted when the browser is closed.
_lang: technical and strictly necessary cookie containing the session language. Deleted when the browser is closed.
ac_cookies: technical and strictly necessary cookie containing whether cookie installation was accepted. Expires 1 year after last update.
_ga: Google Analytics cookie that enables unique visitor tracking. Set the first time a user visits the site with a browser. When the same user returns with the same browser, the cookie recognizes them as the same user. If the user switches browsers, they are considered a new user. Expires 2 years after last update.
_gat: Associated with Google Analytics Universal. Limits request rate on high-traffic sites. Expires after 10 minutes.
_utma: Google Analytics cookie recording first and last visit dates. Expires 2 years after last update.
_utmb: Google Analytics cookie recording the time of arrival to the website. Expires 30 minutes after last update.
_utmc: Google Analytics cookie used for interoperability with urchin.js tracking code. Deleted when browser is closed.
_utmt: Google Analytics cookie used to process user-requested data type. Expires at session end.
_utmv: Google Analytics cookie used for demographic segmentation. Expires at session end.
_utmz: Google Analytics cookie storing traffic source or campaign explaining how the user arrived at the website. Expires 6 months after last update.
REVOCATION OF CONSENT TO INSTALL COOKIES AND HOW TO DELETE BROWSER COOKIES
Chrome
- Select the Tools icon
- Click Settings.
- Click Show Advanced Settings.
- In the “Privacy” section, click Content Settings.
- Delete cookies: Click All cookies and site data…
- Do not allow sites to save cookies.
- Click Clear browsing data (empty Cache).
- Close and restart the browser.

Internet Explorer. Version 11
- Select Tools | Internet Options.
- Click the General tab.
- In the “Browsing history” section, click Delete browsing history on exit.
- Select Delete files.
- Select Delete cookies.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
- Close and restart the browser.

Firefox. Version 18
- Select Firefox | History | Clear Recent History.
- Next to “Details”, click the down arrow.
- Select the following checkboxes: Cookies, Cache, Active Logins. Using the “Time range to clear” dropdown, select Everything.
- Click Clear Now.
- Close and restart the browser.
You can accept or reject cookies individually in Firefox Preferences under History available at Tools > Options > Privacy.

- Select the Safari icon / Edit | Reset Safari.
- Select the following checkboxes: Clear history, Remove all website data
- Click Reset.
