Finance Afterwork – The Internal Control Functions in SGEICs
The private equity sector is gaining increasing importance in our economy, which translates, among other things, into a significant rise in the number of management companies for closed-end collective investment schemes (SGEICs).
SGEICs are required to have solid administrative and accounting organization, human and technical resources, as well as internal control procedures.
This session will analyze the internal control functions (internal audit, risk management, and regulatory compliance) in these types of entities and their modalities, led by Carmen Corsín, Coordinator of the Authorization and Registration Department of Entities at the CNMV.
Additionally, a review will be conducted of the most relevant recent regulatory changes introduced in the private equity field.
