Presentation event of Barcelona Finance School, the new financial knowledge hub

On November 10th, we will celebrate the launch of Barcelona’s new financial knowledge hub, the finance school of the Instituto de Estudios Financieros: Barcelona Financio School.

The event will be presided over by Hble. Ms. Natàlia Mas Guix, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

The agenda of the event will be as follows:

1. Presentation of Barcelona Financio School by its General Director, who is also the Director of the Instituto de Estudios Financieros, Mr. Ferran Teixes
2. Masterclass by Pau Garcia-Milà, founder of Founderz, on “Implications of Artificial Intelligence in the World of Finance”
3. Roundtable, moderated by Mr. Josep M. Vilarrúbia y Tapia, Secretary General of Economy and Finance, titled “Catalonia’s Opportunities in the Financial World, the Tools at Its Disposal, and the Role That an Entity Like Barcelona Financio School Can Play,” featuring representatives from the Instituto de Estudios Financieros’ sponsors: CaixaBank, Banco Sabadell, Banco Santander, Caja de Ingenieros, and Instituto Catalán de Finanzas
4. Closing remarks by Hble. Ms. Natàlia Mas Guix, Minister of Economy and Finance
