If you already hold the EIA certification, the Level 2 Insurance Certification Course—developed by CECAS—provides you with the training needed to obtain the qualification required to perform advisory roles in insurance distribution, in compliance with Royal Decree 287/2021.
This is a 100% online, practical, and flexible program that will enable you to acquire the technical and regulatory knowledge necessary to carry out your professional activity with full guarantees.

Who is this program for?
This program is aimed at professionals who must advise on insurance products, including: - Insurance agents. - Employees of brokerages and intermediaries who perform advisory tasks. - External collaborators who advise on insurance products. - Employees of external collaborators. - Professionals in the distribution networks of bancassurance operators. - Employees of insurance and reinsurance companies who perform advisory functions. - Heads of distribution activities and members of management bodies of corporate agents or external collaborators when they perform advisory functions. Requirement: To access this course, it is necessary to hold, at a minimum, a Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) diploma or its equivalent (or a higher degree). Foreign qualifications must be officially recognized (homologated).
Methodology and Assessment
The course is conducted 100% online through the CECAS training platform, which you will access using a personal username and password. From day one, you will have all the necessary resources at your disposal to progress at your own pace: - Complete syllabus in digital format. - Self-assessment multiple-choice quizzes. - Solved practical exercises. - Progressive evaluations to consolidate your knowledge as you move through the program. Additionally, you will have a tutoring service to resolve any academic queries. Inquiries are made directly through the platform, and the assigned tutor will respond within 48 to 72 hours. Evaluation To access the final exam, you must complete all course checkpoints and pass each of them with a minimum score of 6. The final exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, with four possible answers per question. To pass, you must obtain at least a 60% correct answer rate (30 out of the 50 questions). In the event of not passing the exam on the first attempt, the student will have a single retake opportunity, which must be requested within a maximum period of 15 days. Once the exam is passed and the process is validated by the CECAS team, the student will be able to download their Accrediting Formative Certification of Level 2 directly from the platform.
