From Barcelona to Amman: bringing European insights on sustainable finance to the global stage

IEF – Institut d’Estudis Financers-Barcelona Finance School had the honor of taking part in the Greefin Forum 2025 in Amman, organized by the Association of Banks in Jordan ABJ with the support of Housing Bank and Jordan Kuwait Bank, and backed by the Central Bank of Jordan.

During the opening session, our director Ferran Teixes, also representing EBTN – The European Banking & Financial Services Training Association shared insights on the evolution and current landscape of hashtag#sustainablefinance in Europe alongside the Vice President of ABJ, Ammar Alsafad, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, H.E. Adel Al-Sarkas.

We also contributed to the program with a presentation on the EU Taxonomy, delivered by our specialist Hèctor Robelló, FRM, CEFA, EFA, as part of a panel of outstanding international speakers.
