In this episode, we talk about the possible measures that the new government of Javier Milei will undertake in Argentina.

What are people’s expectations? And companies’? Is it really possible to carry out the flagship measure, that is, the elimination of the central bank? What is dollarization? Is it possible to reduce fiscal spending as proposed? What is the exchange rate clamp and what is expected with its elimination? What is expected of diplomatic relations with other countries with totally different views?

Finally, we will try to shed some light on the possible privatizations of large and deficit-ridden public companies, such as Aerolíneas Argentinas or YPF.

This time we will have the participation of two Argentine economists: Alejandro Jacobo, specialist in international trade and professor at the National University of Córdoba and Villa María, and Javier García Sánchez, finance specialist and professor at IAE Business School, who will offer us some interesting and complementary insights on the Argentine economic context.
